How did we get Here?
During our days we rocked innocence,
With natural nails and eyelashes,
Sweet sixteen was childlike and joyful,
A dream of changing the world, brain and heart,
Shy of boys and scared of romance,
We curiously dreamt and danced carefreely.
Today nothing is innocent, natural or true,
No words are said as to what it means,
Breasts are melting buttocks trickle-down strange,
Men are feminine not heroes, providers, or warriors,
There was a time when men rode like knights,
Yes, those days when they lead nations to prosperity and freedom,
Now it seems like a world full of confused delirious, timid lions and lionesses without claws or teeth…
A few years ago, hot meant character, strength, and the pride of labor,
Today hot means, cunny, snobbish, irresponsible, and callous.
We rocked life while honor rode the way,
Now we have come to a season left confused,
For we have forgotten how we got here.
During our fathers days they were sure,
Who God is and who we were,
Now, we call ourselves, “Worthy of worship”,
And display our foolly as invincible gods,
But tomorrow is coming, all sheep will be separated from goat,
No weed will grow with the grains,
At that time we will do it because the “All in All” says so.
