Love is Enough
Love is not enough they say,
You need money, I often hear them say,
They never tell you the truth, if they may,
Because deep down they know it is love that stands when all fails.
Prayer is not enough they say,
You need to be smart, I often hear them say,
They refuse to admit the truth, if they may,
That all you need is Wisdom as a middle Man.
Caring, commitment, and loyalty are love, I say,
Passion skips from cold, hot to warm, and it’s fine, stay,
It is love that stays beside your sick bed, in may,
Wipes your behind when old age knocks at winter.
On the days when money refuses to give life, it is love that revives the heart and makes a sick mind whole.
Love is enough when it is love.
