One Certain Old Man
So I sat today thinking specifically about an event that happened in my life, when I was just out of the secondary school. I was about 17 then….. while I waited for admission my Parents enrolled me to learn the computer. They also thought why not a special hand skill from a certain man that came out of town.
This man was elderly, he looked like a man in his 50s. He taught us tie and dye, how to make soap, Vaseline etc…….hmmmm
Why am I sharing this with you? This old man is that kind of old men that are without shame…every opportunity he got he will make sexual remarks…..I will sit to mix chemicals he will have something to say about how I turned it. So one day he asked me to go to a certain room to get chemicals, uncomfortable with the request but with my up bringing of obeying elders I gladly agreed. As soon as I got in, I hard his foots steps right behind me and before I said Sir…….this old man has is palm against my butt……he said to me ” you are pretending, if I came with a car now, you would be the one following me” his audacity.
Aha I was mad, I pushed him and ran out, went back told one of the girls who was about my age what the man just did, she said he did same to her……I was so upset I left.
I returned home and told my Dad. My displeased Dad kicked his bike about to report the case to the police station and to confront the old man. We all pleaded with him.
My grandma charged up! Very angry and ready to fight like the wife of the Captain she is, she said to me ” Gotty, next time any man does that, give him a slap” but Kaka he is elderly? ” Elderly that has no Shame is not an elder, slap him, scream, call for attention, i want you to learn to fight for yourself, your Dad will not always be their”
That changed something in me. I am a peaceful person but I can charge too……
See, no one wants to be option B or violated, used or dishonored. Why do you think, a girl showing displeasure is pretence?
Anyone who does not want disrespect should have respect for self. An old man, a priest who does not want to be dishonored or shamed should practice what they preach.
You don’t lure a girl in to an affair, turn her into a sex slave, deprive her of financial security and think one day she will not be courageous enough to kick. She was never in it for love just like you, you guys were just drinking stolen waters, then why the wickedness, why the continual taunting and disgrace. Killing Is sin ofcos but some people just think they have nine lives, that’s why they play with peoples feelings…(Chiddima case).. You better repent before it is too late.
When we warn girls about people like that old man, we are not judging, we are just saying, is not every collar, annoiting and grey hair that is honorable or approved of God.
Don’t come to my inbox warning me, maybe when you have a daughter you will recieve sence. This is why our Nation is the way it is. Kill terrorist, no we will rehabilitate them. Tao God dey!
The Elderly and Pastors who yield to God and are living honorably don’t have two heads, neither is their grace bigger than yours. They have just made a decision to stay committed to God and His truth, to yield every day to His resurrecting power and Grace. They hide in God’s own righteousness.
You are born again and for years but no change you still play girls, you are still following the married men or the we live by grace talker, I could not help it, you know we are all sinners, or we are children of Adam. They have shown you light, you say darkness sweet, then come out and fight people who say reach out for the light. …..hmmmmmm hmmmmmmm hmmmmm tao🥺
