In the heart of Northern Nigeria’s land,

Determined souls with a mission to impart,
The gift of education, a fresh start.
Teachers emerge, beacons of light,
Guiding young minds through the darkest night,
With patience and love, they pave the way,
To unlock the potential that lies within each day.
In makeshift schools under the open sky,
Where curiosity soars, and dreams can fly,
Children gather, hungry for knowledge’s embrace,
Eager to learn, to find their rightful place.
With books as treasures and pencils in hand,
They trace their letters, a journey they understand,
Numbers and stories unfold like a song,
Igniting their spirits, empowering them strong.
Amidst the challenges, their spirits remain,
Their thirst for learning, an unyielding flame,
For they know that education holds the key,
To a future where they can truly be free.
Oh, Northern Nigeria, let us unite,
To empower these children, to shine a light,

Educate the out-of-school, let their dreams ride.
