Plsam 40 Saved Me

He drew me up out of a horrible pit [a pit of tumult and of destruction], out of the miry clay (froth and slime), and set my feet upon a rock, steadying my steps and establishing my goings.

What is happening in Nigeria is no news anymore. The likes of banditry, terrorism and bad governance has brought upon this beautiful country mayham. Fear is on the lose. The love of many gone cold. Indeed we are in a perilous time.

The deadly virus called Corona has declared war on health and has enforced alot of changes.

We cannot pretend to be unaware of depression and anxiety. The wave of the struggle of life. Fear taking control and making the faith of many cold. This is reality now. Yes! This has also affected alot of christians, I mean born again, tongue speaking Christians. Although insecurity is the order of the day, we can relay on our Father boldly.

The simple nature of God presents to us the opportunity to talk to Him as easy and boldly as we will our heavenly Father. God wants to restore our daily dealings. We have to understand that there are things we cannot fix on our own. It is safer and more assuring to depend on our Father who is our creator, to recreate and change situations for His glory. In Nigeria we see Him working for our good. At every level or phase we can trust Him and we trust Him to do good peaceful things in us and for us.

Reading Psalm 40 has helped me in so many ways especially when in despire. I know it will for you too. It is okay to go through difficult trying times but it is not okay to remain hopeless. You are not without help. God’s open arms is for you to run into and remain. Be in His presence by praying and through praise. Reading and meditating on God’s word refreshes and energize us to take up our daily exploits.Get up be hopeful. You are alive today, because you will fulfill purpose. Arise and shine for your Light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who makes the Lord his refuge and trust, and turns not to the proud or to followers of false gods.

Trust in the love God has for you.
