We can hope!
I was not sure what I was looking for when I walked up to the face of the sun. unperturbed and unafraid, I knew I could trust this solid rock. No storm can destroy it, no doubt could defeat it, it is intelligent and sufficient. Gazing through the clouds there it was a perfect raising sun. The setting sun is gloriously an assurance of bliss but you see that rising sun, oh! mine what hope so refreshing that could resurrect every dead dream, so, drawn to its wholeness I embraced grace.
What could stand the test of time? I use to wonder until the sun satisfied my diligent curiosity. A heart on flames, passionate and unyielding to rage will surpass vengeance, evil, and even death. It will stand when all has failed, money, youthly strength, and smart faculty will not. Our leaders think times will never change but time will come even if they could they can’t, just like fake promises don’t stand the test of time.
A new Nigeria will emerge. A race washed and sad tears wiped off. That time will come and we will glorify God for His mercies and goodness towards us as a nation. Today might be filled with gloom, confusion, and the tragic reoccurring of terrorism but just as the days of that Pharaoh of Egypt came to an end so will they. These calamities we hear of, we will hear of them no more.
This year is closing in and a new chapter will start. Look out for those new opportunities that will come your way. Get ready and skilled for the task at hand, doing greater things will be our portion. Don’t forget to focus on the journey, not the destination, your journey determines your destination. Also, “The value of life is not in its duration, but in its donation. You are not important because of how long you live, you are important because of how effective you live” – Dr. Myles Munroe, OBE
So prepare to live an effective life by donating your very best to the bringing of the purpose of God to fulfillment. New shoots will sprout forth, spring in the air. Let’s remain hopeful and depend on Him. He is known and proven never to fail. 2022 is our year of fruitfulness and restoration, do you believe it? I do!
I will remain under the canopy of the Sun, embraced by His love and inspire by His wisdom, yes, I am unperturbed because Yahweh will not let me down and His word is true in my life.
I believe in you, you are loved and cherished. God always has your back. He is a good Father and one you can trust.
