He is a Good Good Father
I traveled one certain time forgetting my jewelry and make-up, especially my magic red, for someone like me who doesn’t know how to make up like that my red lipstick does the miracle.
When we got to our destination and were about to go out I discovered, what l had forgotten. I felt bad a bit I had plans to dress up for hubby and myself, while feeling bad, the Holy Spirit questioned me, “Do you mean you can’t do without them?” I paused a bit surprised, “of course you know my heart Lord, I would”. Up for a challenge, there goes I. So I went maybe a day or two without it, then someone gave me a gift of a set of jewelry and red lipstick, God with a sense of humor I said under my breathe. My Father reminds me, that He is concerned about every seeming insignificant issue about me. He doesn’t want to take things from me, He wants to give me more abundantly, He just wants to know if we can love and trust Him with or without certain things. Remember He is a good good Father, that’s who He is to us.
He needed to know the love of Abraham when He asked for Isaac, He had already made a provision, the intention was never to permit him to give his son. If only we can give him first place, obey Him, and trust Him, then we will see His mercies and goodness early.
This Christmas what would you be willing to do without in obedience and faith to God. With the economy of Nigeria, things are not as smooth, would you rather do without, than compromise your faith?
What will it profit a woman if she was given money for hair, shoes, clothes, etc just for a night with a man that is not her husband during Christmas? What shall it profit a man to have all the expensive things in a bid to show off by stealing while abandoning your responsibilities to your family? Does losing your soul mean anything?
If you would just do without and trust God to provide He will provide for you and bless you. Also, you will have a clean conscience while celebrating this season, wouldn’t that be awesome to be at rest?
Your Father God has so much in store for you. He did not create you to lead you into lack, sickness, or debt, He came one Christmas morning to make sure you enjoy life more abundantly, meaning, having it all here and with Him in heaven. He is not a God who stands by watching when you would make a mistake to punish you or take the good physical things of life from you; instead, He wants to provide for you, love on you, comfort you, strengthen you, and be there when you feel all hope is lost. The devil on the other hand is the thief, he would want to steal your joy, peace, and soul, but you will not let him.
Walk-in victory knowing your debts are paid, your tomorrow is secured, your daily bread is provided for in Him.
I believe in you, you are loved and cherished. God always has your back. He is a good Father and one you can trust.
